Who I am
How it all came about
Colors have the power to heal, touching the mind and soul in unexpected ways. I grew up in the countryside of southern Italy, surrounded by the mysteries of Castel del Monte and the vivid colors of the surrounding nature. When the difficulties of adult life shook my balance, I discovered the therapeutic power of painting. I started transferring my dreams and emotions onto canvases. However, I soon realized that I had an adverse reaction to acrylic paints, which is why I began my search for natural dyes. My travels have taken me from Patagonia to the Tibetan plateau, passing through the Moroccan desert, in search of the authentic colors of the earth. Subsequently, I used these colors to paint in elementary school classrooms and psychiatric hospitals, noting their calming effect on the individuals present. Over the years, my art has been influenced by different color theories and studies. My mission, through my art, is to liberate and arouse curiosity. Not only as a painter, but also as an interior designer, I use color to help myself and others find inner peace.
